Living at We Care Center Treatment
	We Care Treatment Center provides residential care. The treatment center opened in October 2006. It provides a home-like environment that is designed to facilitate the close supervision. The Center is divided into four separate bedrooms with four to six beds in each room, 3 full bathrooms, and staff offices. The treatment center is also equipped with a computer/quiet room and activity room. The treatment center is also equipped with a swimming pool, volleyball net and a basketball goal for the children to enjoy. The children living in the treatment center also take frequent advantage of the many recreational, educational, and cultural opportunities within the local Spring/Woodland community. Staffing The We Care Treatment Center employs an interdisciplinary team of highly trained staff to work with the children. Residential treatment specialists provide supervision, care, and treatment for children 24 hours a day. The daytime ratio is 1 staff to 5 children and during sleeping hours the ratio is 1 staff to 16 children. Other staff includes: a licensed administrator, a program director, a medication consultant, a child psychiatrist, 3 licensed professional counselors and 4 licensed lifeguards. Each child also has an employee designated as a “special person” who serves as a parental figure and role model for the child.
