	Houston Wee Care Shelter (dba We Care Treatment Center) is a Residential Treatment Center that serves girls ages five through seventeen. Our residents have been diagnosed with severe emotional and behavioral disorders. They typically cannot be treated successfully in a less structured setting. We Care Treatment Center combines a positive living environment with specialized mental health treatment. Children served include those with severe behavioral disorders, psychiatric disorders, learning disabilities, and victims of trauma. Each child at We Care Treatment Center has an individualized treatment plan designed to help the child develop the behaviors that will enable the child to return to a home setting. A typical length of stay is 4-12 months. The We Care Treatment Center is licensed by the Texas Department of Family Protective Services to serve 16 children. The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services and Juvenile Probation Departments across Texas refer children to We Care Treatment Center.
